A father invested in the vision.
John's father, Norman February, invested power tools into the young business. It was one of the first practical blessings—and, to John, another sign from God: “I Am with you.”
The February Flooring story
What began as one man’s determination to provide for his family has grown into a business the next generation can continue building.
J And J Flooring
A decision to build
After working for someone else for approximately five years, John knew that the only way to grow from where he was—and create a better future for his family—was to start something of his own.
In 2013, that decision became J And J Flooring. Starting the business took more than flooring experience. It took courage to complete the application, faith to step into the unknown and the determination to build a legacy that his family could one day carry forward.
The scripture John held onto during the waiting period—a reminder to remain grounded in God's Word while taking each next step.
The foundation
One of John's earliest lessons was that the clients were not his source—God was. The business could create opportunity, but its provision, direction and future would always remain in God's hands.
“God is and will always be in the driver's seat of this business. His Word is our firm foundation.
THE HEART OF FEBRUARY FLOORING
To provide, to create opportunity and to leave something meaningful for the generation that follows.
John's father, Norman February, invested power tools into the young business. It was one of the first practical blessings—and, to John, another sign from God: “I Am with you.”
J And J Flooring became the heart of something bigger: a place where every person who invests their time and contributes to the day-to-day work can help build opportunity and move forward.
When the J And J Flooring name could no longer be carried forward, the setback became an opportunity—not to erase the past, but to honour it through a new chapter: February Flooring.
